I graduated from Northwestern High School in 1993. While in high school I lettered in baseball, football and band. I was also the president of FCA my senior year. I have been the City Manager for the City of Tega Cay since 2013 and have worked for the City since 2001. I began my career with the City as its first Parks & Recreation Director. In 2007 I became the City’s first Operations Director. In this role I oversaw the day-to-day operations of the City, including managing the Parks & Recreation, Storm Water, Public Works and Utility Departments. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Winthrop University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Anna Maria College in Massachusetts. I am also a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program from Clemson University. I have been married to my wife, Becky, for 15 years and we have two daughters, Emma Grace (11) and Riley (6). My family and I have lived in Tega Cay since 2013. I am on the School Improvement Council for Tega Cay Elementary School and serve on the Board of Directors for Tega Cay Forever, a non-profit group that I created last year to help fund capital projects at city-owned parks and protect city-owned greenways.
