• My name is Anna Catherine Wilson, and I graduated from Northwestern High School in 2010. While in high school, I was a Varsity cheerleader, treasurer of the Junior Civitan Club, historian for the National Honor Society, and became an AP scholar. Upon high school graduation, I attended the University of South Carolina where I received my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. When searching for a possible career, I knew I wanted a profession that allowed me to be physically active, assist others, and be a critical thinker. This led me to the path of physical therapy. I am currently in the physical therapy program at the Medical University of South Carolina, and in May 2018, I will graduate with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While at MUSC, I have had the opportunity to travel to Uganda, Africa with One World Health to offer medical services to the citizens of Masindi. I firmly believe that Northwestern High School provided me with the foundation of education I needed to begin achieving my goals, which will ultimately lead to a successful career as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
