Nina Dawes
My name is Nina Dawes, and this is my fifth year teaching at Northwestern. I teach English II, and I am the director of The Oracle, Northwestern's Writing Center.
I am originally from Pawleys Island, SC, but I moved to the Rock Hill area when I began school at Winthrop University. I now live just up the road in Charlotte, NC. I graduated from Winthrop in 2018 with my Bachelor of Arts in English and in 2019 with my Master of Arts in Teaching. In my spare time, I like to read good books, spend time with my friends and family, cook, practice yoga, and do anything that has me in the sun.
