My name is Missy Lehman, and I'm entering my 20th year teaching. I was born in NJ, and my family moved to Rock Hill in 1989. I am a true Northwestern Trojan, graduating in 1998. I followed my love for all things Clemson Tigers, graduating in 2003 with a BA in English. After graduation, I taught at Greenwood High School (Greenwood, SC) for four years. After being a Greenwood Eagle for a little while, I realized that I missed my family a little too much, so I returned to Rock Hill, SC. I am currently in my 16th year teaching at Northwestern where I teach all levels of English III: American Literature and AP Literature and Composition. I'm also the advisor of the NHS Junior Civitan club as well as Trojan Council, our student government organization.

I'm from a large family, and I have 8 amazing nephews. I'm the proud and enthusiastic dog mom to my Corgi- Sir Henry Waffles Lehman. I love reading, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends. I have been bitten by the travel bug. To date, I've visited China, England, France, Scotland, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Greece, Spain, and Iceland! I can't wait to go on my next international trip!
