N¨« h¨£oÄãºÃ/Hello, my name is Lihua Tan. I come from China and this is my third year at Northwestern High School though it will be the seventh year teaching Chinese and seventeenth year as an educator. I have blended classes with students from NHS, RHHS and SPHS. I teach Chinese 1,2, 3 Honors, 4 Honors, and AP Chinese. I am passionate about helping students to develop their Chinese language skills, intercultural competency, and global perspectives.

As far as my personal life, I am married and have a three year old daughter. I love to read, travel, and spend time with my family.
