¡Bienvenidos a Northwestern! My name is Julia Rowsam. My family is from Puerto Rico and I am first generation to be born in the United States.  I grew up surrounded by the Puerto Rican culture.  I love the Puerto Rican cuisine and listening to Salsa and Merengue.  I have a passion for teaching my students how they can also learn to love the Spanish language and culture. I have been teaching Spanish for 22 years in South Carolina.  I teach Spanish 2, 3 Honors, 4 Honors, IB Spanish and AP Spanish. I am also a co-sponsor for the International Club.
