Hello, I am David Pierce. Prior to 2021, I taught and coached at NHS from 1987-2017 and York HS 2018-19. Prior to Northwestern, I coached at Lewisville HS in  Chester County, SC.  As a teacher I have been a part of the Social Studies Dept. and the IB/Dual Credit programs.  I have taught courses in History, Geography, Psychology, Economics, US Government and Global IT. As a coach I have been a part of 11 State Championship games at two schools and been blessed to be a part of 6 State Championship coaching staffs. At home I am the father of Nathan (32) an attorney in Rock Hill and Tori (27) a graduate student at the USC School of Medicine, both are NHS graduates. I have been married for 33 years to the most wonderful woman, Mrs. Kerri Lynn Pierce. Kerri is the Director of Shareholder Service for Comporium, Inc. 

I am excited to begin another year at NHS and cannot wait to meet you.
