Greetings Trojans,  

It is my pleasure to introduce myself. My name is Sandy Vang, a proud, first-generation Asian American who loves teaching and sharing my love of education with my students. This will be my sixth year teaching, my first year with Northwestern High School, and I am ecstatic about beginning. For the first 5 years of my career, I had the honor of educating the young minds of Chester High School and am excited to share my love of cultivating young leaders with you all. I spent most of my childhood in York, SC, and graduated as a York Cougar and immediately moved into my undergraduate program as a South Carolina Teaching Fellow at USC Upstate. Within the last 5 years, I have taught Economics, Government/Civics, World Geography, World History, U.S. History, African American History, Law Education, and Current Events. This year, I will have the pleasure of teaching AP Economics, AP Government, Survey to American History, and U.S. History. I look forward to working with you all this year and adding to your child’s educational journey.
