Ms. Dana Burrell
Hello! My name is Dana Huntley Burrell! I began my teaching career at Northside Elementary in 2007. From the very first day I knew I was home! Northside is such a special place filled with extraordinary people! I have taught 1st and 2nd grade and I am excited to now be a Reading Recovery teacher. My undergraduate degree in Health Education is from Appalachian State University. I also have Early Childhood Certification and in 2021 will graduate from Winthrop University with a Masters in Literacy. My husband, Mark, and I are originally from Charlotte. Rock Hill has been my home for over 20 years, I love our town! I have 3 stepchildren - Ryan, Caspian, & Elizabeth and two fur babies - Captain Jack and Little Bear! I love teaching and love to learn! It is a blessing and honor to be here at Northside!
