• South Carolina has created a Profile of the SC Graduate, a vision of what all students who graduate from South Carolina schools should exemplify.  The state curriculum standards help us develop the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve this vision.

    An overview, called the , can assist parents with understanding the standards. When visiting the Family-Friendly Guide, click on the grade band you are interested in viewing and follow the links to view documents for English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
