A little bit about yourself--where are you from? What do you like to do?
I’m from Charleston, South Carolina. I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in French Language and Literature and a minor in Child Psychology. I moved to Rock Hill in 2020 with my now 6 year old dog. In our free time we love to be outside, especially on the boat or at the beach, so we go home to Charleston as often as we can!
Favorite thing about teaching or working at Sullivan?
I like teaching French at Sullivan because it opens up the world for the students. Students gain a global understanding and a more open mind when taught another language and its' culture. I teach to help young people grow into productive, successful, and contributing adults. This is my 5th year at Sullivan teaching French and my 2nd year teaching DLI Social Studies in French!
What is your "genius" or "Superpower"?
My superpower is maintaining a happy, safe and encouraging environment in my classroom to promote learning and bettering my students to become good humans.
