A little bit about yourself--where are you from? What do you like to do?
This is my 21st year in the field of education. I grew up in the small town of Whitmire, SC, and at times I miss small town living. I graduated from Winthrop University in 1997 with an Undergraduate Degree in Special Education and spent 9 years in the classroom. I earned my Graduate Degree in Educational Leadership from University of Phoenix in 2011 and starting my 12th year as a school administrator. In my free time I enjoy playing golf, spending time with my two sons, and completing woodworking projects. When it's time to get away and relax, I head for the mountains for the views and tranquility. I am proud to serve both the community of Rock Hill and all the students that live here. Rock Hill has truly become home.
Favorite thing about teaching or working at Sullivan?
My favorite thing about working at Sullivan is the people. Being a school of choice for both IB and DLI, I have the opportunity to work with staff from all around the globe. Learning about different cultures has provided me with a global mindset that allows me to build positive relationships with our diverse student population.
