BUILD ON THE ROCK

Projects included in the Build on the Rock Master Plan are nearing completion. The information below highlights the scope of work planned and completed from 2016 - 2020.

June 22, 2020 Capital Bond Program Overview

On May 5, 2015, the citizens of Rock Hill approved $110 million for projected capital needs between 2016-2020. This successful vote will allow the district to transform our schools into collaborative, sustainable, efficient places where students feel safe and can learn, grow, connect, and thrive. Facilities capital projects developed through our master planning process are professionally implemented as part of our "Build On the Rock" construction program. The projects, with the exception of a separate project to replace the district office, are made possible through the sale of bonds. Fiscal planning by the district is making it possible for the planned improvements to be completed without a tax increase.

Every school in the district will benefit over the 5-year period, 2016-2020, as projects will be completed at each school. An overview of the most significant projects are listed below.
