Building Systems Repairs & Replacements

    There are a number of projects in the district that are either repairs or scheduled maintenance of aging or failing systems.

    Rock Hill High School
    Exterior cladding repair. Over time, water has leaked behind the brick facing on Buildings D and E causing the brick anchors to rust. This project is a pre-emptive replacement to minimize safety risk, and includes replacement of building windows as an energy retrofit. Expected completion: August 2017

    Roof Replacements

    Independence Elementary
    The roof surface at Independence Elemtnary is being replaced, and as part of a separate project, there will be a solar panel roof system installed over the entire roof later this year.

    Driveway & Parking Improvements

    Central Child Development Center
    The front driveway,which is utilized for bus pickup and dropoff as well as visitor parking, is being improved. Additionally, a gravel parking lot for staff is being enlarged and paved to improve the campus and accessibility.
