Project Description:
The only public Montessori school in Rock Hill will have a new home in January 2018 after the completion of a new facility that is being built on the campus of Ebenezer Avenue Elementary School. A committee of parents, teachers, and administrators have worked in partnership with Charlotte-based to purposefully design a facility that is tailor-made for the unique needs of a Montessori learning experience. This will be a welcomed change from the program's current home at The Children's School where regular classroom spaces have been converted to accomodate the program.

This rendering shows a new front entrance and the new Montessori facility at Ebenezer Avenue Elementary School. Construction regulations will require a new traffic pattern and additional parking on the campus. A site plan is shown below.

The red line represents the property line for the campus. The yellow represents the new drop off and pick up loop with additional parking. The green represents additional paved parking. The orange represents the new bus loop. The orange area represents new kindergarten classrooms. The new Montessori facility is in blue. A new front office is being added to support all three programs -- Traditional, Montessori, and Inquiry -- that will be on the Ebenezer Avenue campus.
