Hi, my name is Abbie Townson and I am the new Media Specialist at India Hook! 

 

I was the Young Adult Services Manager with the York County Library for 25 years.  I enjoyed working with middle and high school students, but I'm excited to start a new chapter at the IHES Media Center!   Students and caregivers can expect lots of exciting books and engaging activities to be shared.

 

My husband, Brian, and I have been married for 15 years.  We are a blended family with 3 adult sons and often take weekend trips to explore the Blue Ridge Mountains.  My hobbies also include reading, birding, cycling, and cooking.

 

I appreciate the warm welcome from the faculty, staff, and students and look forward to getting to know everyone!
