I am originally from Lancaster, SC.  My passion for dance began at a young age when I started dance lessons at Dance Works Unlimited in Lancaster, SC. I began my pre-professional dance experience by becoming scholarly trained in modern, ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and other styles of dance, as a dance major at Coker University.  I graduated from Coker in May of 2016 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography.

 

Since graduating, I have taught dance at a public high school in South Carolina, served as the head dance/cheer coach at Coker University, and taught dance to elementary-aged students for the last 9 years. I love sharing my passion for dance with students and I am excited to continue my journey as the dance teacher at York Road Elementary School!
