As a dedicated member of the York Road family, I am thrilled to be part of this thriving educational community.
My passion for teaching began as a substitute teacher, where I discovered my love for inspiring students and helping them to grow. Since then, I transitioned to our Instructional Technology teacher, where I teach computer and internet safety skills.
Prior to joining York Road, I enjoyed a fruitful career in financial banking, which lasted for over two decades.
I approach teaching with a personal touch, taking the time to build relationships with each of my students. It is a joy to watch them develop and achieve their educational goals.
My roots lie in Anchorage, Alaska, where I was raised. After completing college in Ohio, I seized the opportunity to move down to The Carolinas, and I've never looked back. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I'm also a fan of mystery "whodunnit" shows and music.
