My name is Melanie Burnette and I teach Kindergarten. I graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Elementary Education and received a master's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina. I have been teaching school for 34 years. I have been married for 35 years to my husband Jimmy and have been blessed with 4 beautiful children... Ruth Anne, Abby, Catherine, and Preston. I welcomed my first grandchild , Violet, in January of this year. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends doing things like watching college football and hosting dinner parties.
