Ms. Jannetta Morrison
Hi! My name is Jannetta Morrison, and I am the District Academic Interventionist at India Hook Elementary. I am certified in early childhood education from Winthrop University, and Early Literacy from Clemson University. I am in the last year of my master’s degree in literacy education through Clemson University. Before becoming an interventionist, I worked for 16 years as a classroom teacher in Rock Hill schools. This school year will be my fifth year as an interventionist, and I love working with students in reading.
I have three children, Jon, Sophia, and Mason. My oldest son, Jon, served in the Air Force and works at Composite Resources, using his training from tech school. My daughter, Sophi, is a senior Biology major at the College of Charleston and works at IPPL in Summerville, SC in nutrition and enrichment of rescued gibbons and otters. My youngest son, Mason, is in his second year at Tri-County Technical College in Easley, SC working on an associate's degree in welding.
