Hi, my name is Kendra Scott and I am thrilled to join the India Hook family as your literacy coach. I have over 25 years of experience in education and have been a literacy coach more than 15 years. My undergraduate degree in elementary education is from Buffalo State College (Go Bills!) and I earned my masters degree in reading and literacy from UNC Charlotte. I am also a National Board certified teacher. I am excited to assist with all the new ELA initiatives we are beginning this year, such as LETRS, new state standards, and a new ELA curriculum.
