I was born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. I have lived in Columbia, North Augusta, SC, and Fredericksburg, VA, and currently reside in Tega Cay, SC. I hold an Associate of Arts Degree from Spartanburg Methodist College, a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of South Carolina, and a Master’s Degree from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to teaching I worked in the following occupations: Administrative Assistant, Outbound Dispatcher, Internal Auditor, and Financial Analyst. 
This is my seventh year teaching middle school and teaching at Castle Heights. I also taught various business/computer courses at the high school level for nine years. I currently teach Digital & Computer Arts, and PLTW Apps Creators, which is something new. When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family boating on the lake, attending college sporting events, traveling, and fine dining. I also enjoy crafts, sewing, crocheting and painting. I have been married 28 years. My husband, William and I have two sons, Patrick and Matthew.
