My name is Micha Strother, and I am proud to be a Saluda Trail Wildcat!! I was born and raised in Chicago IL. but SC is my home!. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Bowling Green, and my Masters in Education from Grand Canyon University. I am certified to teach Early Childhood and Elementary Education. This will is my first year at Saluda Trail Middle. I have a true passion for working with our young learners!! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, and language—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive environment. 

I believe every child is unique and deserves a caring, inspiring, and engaging atmosphere in which to grow emotionally, intellectually, and socially. As an educator I want to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing a safe, risk-taking, and collaborative environment. I want our students to development positive character and leadership traits which are essential in becoming a productive citizen. I believe a positive elementary education is essential to creating successful life-long learners.
