Hi! I am super excited to be teaching the next 4^th grade leaders at Independence Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year! This will be my fifth-year teaching 4^th grade at IDES and I cannot wait to dive into exploring all the amazing things that your child will learn this year! For example, your child will learn some unique strategies to help them problem solve while learning 4^thgrade math, they will gain knowledge about a variety of science topics like energy, engage in learning different readings strategies to help guide them while reading fiction and nonfiction books, and learn about the United States/South Carolina history. 

My husband and I have lived in Rock Hill, SC since we were young and consider Rock Hill our home! We have two amazing little boys that attend IDES and that we enjoy spending time with! We also have 2 dogs, a horse, a cat, and a pet leopard gecko! We love being outside when the weather is nice and have fires whenever we can. We are huge Carolina Gamecock fans and look forward to watching college football in the fall. Go Gamecocks!
