I moved to Charlotte in 1996 for a high school English teaching job, where I stayed for 14 years, and have set my roots in the Carolinas ever since!  Though most of my family lives in Buffalo, I grew up a Navy brat so got to see a lot of the world.  I attended undergraduate school at John Carroll University (Cleveland, OH), and graduate school at East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) - so working here at Northwestern lets me keep those great school colors going!  Between working full time, my family, after school activities, a dog, husband, and a love for travel, I manage to keep very busy.
