Mental Health Counselor

My name is Jessica Wilson, and I am one of the district mental health counselors serving Northwestern High and York Road Elementary, as well as supporting students at Applied Technology Center. I am a Licensed Master of Social Worker (LMSW), certified in Crisis Management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused- CBT, as well as Youth Mental Health First Aid. I am also currently working on my clinical licensure. Throughout most of my career, I have worked with individuals living with persistent and chronic mental illness in a psychiatric setting, as well as working with children and adolescents who have been abused or neglected. I have a passion for always rooting for the "underdog" and hope that every individual I work with leaves with some sense of purpose and hope. I feel honored to be a part of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø mental health department and in a school district that puts so much emphasis on mental health.
