Ms. Dwana David
Hi! My name is Dwana David, and I am the school psychologist at Independence Elementary! This is my 8th year returning to IDES. Along with IDES, I also serve Richmond Drive Elementary School. I graduated from Winthrop University in December 2013 with my Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, and returned to Winthrop to complete my graduate studies the following fall. I received my Masters of Science in School Psychology (2016) and my Specialist in School Psychology degree (2017).
Originally, I am from Darlington, SC. I have a 9 year old son named Ethan, who means the world to me! In my spare time I enjoy seeing new places and doing new things. I love going to concerts, trying new restaurants, going to shows and festivals, and most of all, spending quality time with my friends and family.
I look forward to a great school year! I'm excited to see all of the smiling faces, kids, parents, and faculty/staff alike!
