Mrs. Jade Lavender
Hi, Patriots! I’m Jade Lavender, the K-2nd UP1 teacher. This will be my 7th year teaching the UP1 class in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, but my 1st year teaching at Independence! I have always had a huge passion for working with children with disabilities and helping them grow into independent individuals!
I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have 2 children (4-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son). When I am not at school, you can find me spending all my time with my family, somewhere on a beach, or cheering on the Gamecocks in the fall at Williams Brice!
I am so excited for my first year as a Patriot, and I can’t wait to meet all the children that will change MY life!
