Diane Alexander
My name is Diane Alexander. I graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in 1997. I received National Board Certification in Early Childhood Education in 2005 and a Master's Degree in 2007 from Lesley University. I have taught for 24 years, 22 of which have been in the Rock Hill School District. I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, and Reading Recovery. I have been teaching K4 at Central Child Development Center since 2017. I am married and have three children; two of my children are in college and my youngest will be in High School this year. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, gardening, and taking mountain trips.
I hope you will find our classroom is a place of learning and love. We believe that play is a child's most important work, and we strive to create an environment where your child can grow and thrive while exploring the world around them. We incorporate whole group, small group, and center activities to keep your child engaged so that they learn the academic and social skills needed to be successful.
We will stay in touch through daily communication folders, Seesaw, and monthly newsletters. We are always just a phone call (or text message) away as well. Thank you for sharing your child with us! We look forward to an amazing year!
