Hi, my name is Michelle Suttle and am a "lowcountry" native. I am from Walterboro, SC, not too far from the beautiful beaches near Charleston. My favorite beach, Edisto Beach, is where my family get together at least one week a year to catch up with each other since we live all over the state.  I received a BA in Dance from Winthrop University in 1997 and my Masters of Arts in Teaching in 2007 from USC.  I moved back to the Rock Hill area in 2008 and plan to stay because I love teaching here and raising my daughter here. I am married to a Rock Hill native, Bryman Suttle, who works in city planning and often plays local gigs with his rock band. My daughter is a senior at South Pointe High School and will be off to a college in a year with a major "to be determined", lol. But seriously, she is a hard worker academically and her grades reflect that determination. She has made it so easy to be a proud mom.

This is my 13th year of teaching. I have taught many grade levels, including preschool and middle school, but this will be my 8th year teaching 5th grade. I am a communicator. You will always know what is going on in my classroom and feel connected to your child's learning. I believe it takes a "village" to raise children and I am blessed to be a part of that "village" for your child. I will challenge and support each child and they will feel safe and a sense of belonging to a class family. If you have any special talents that will enhance our learning experience, I will find a way to help you share your talents with our students. I believe that every child and adult has something to offer to help us to become ELITE, our best selves. I look forward to a wonderful school year and SOARING high with our learning.
