Continuing to improve my craft within the education field each day is what excites me the most about the process of learning and developing the lives of our young adults. I have been at South Pointe several years and enjoy each day. Most of my colleagues would probably describe me as reserved, but in the classroom I am a powerhouse and that's where the magic begins.
I currently teach in the COLT Academy (9th grade) but also have experience with English I, II and IV. Outside the English classroom, I take on many other roles, such as: Co-Adviser for the multicultural club PROGENY and Director of South Pointe's very own Majorette team (Prancing Stallions).
When not teaching, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. My hobby outside of school is continuing to practice with my Professional Cosmetologist license. My motto is you only get one life. Make sure you live it well: Carpe Diem!!!! Because you'll never get it back!
