Degrees and Certifications:
Lisa Collins
I have been teaching for a total of 24 years, mostly in fifth grade. I hold a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees. I have taught at Ebenezer Avenue since 2010 and plan to spend the rest of my career as an Ebenezer Eagle.
I grew up in North Carolina (Go Tarheels!), but my husband, of 34 years, is a Rock Hill native. He attended ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø from kindergarten through high school. We have made Rock Hill our home again since 2010. We have an adult son, two adult daughters who graduated from Rock Hill High School. Two of our adult children are married, and we have one beautiful grandson. We love being “Grammie” and “PaPa”.
I also love plants, animals, and nature. The pets in my household outnumber the humans, and I enjoy spending time outdoors growing vegetables, herbs, and flowers. I love sitting under the shade of our huge, old oak tree especially after dark when the fireflies, tree frogs, and stars come out. Summer is my favorite season because the days are long and full of sunshine and opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. I hope that you are also enjoying these long summer days and spending some time outdoors.
