Hello all! This will be my tenth year teaching! I have been at York Road for 9 of those years, and one year in my hometown, Georgetown, SC.  Beach girl at heart forever! Over those years, a lot has happened. I got married and moved to Rock Hill, obtained my Reading Recovery certificate as well as my Masters in Literacy from Winthrop, and had two daughters, Genevieve (4) and Hattie (8 months).  I’ve taught first, second and third grade, so far first being my absolute favorite! I love to read or play golf in my “spare” time, which doesn’t happen often as one can imagine, and I also love to cook. We spend a lot of time involved in our church activities, travel to Georgetown/the beach when we can, and enjoy all the local things Rock Hill has to offer. am looking forward to my new position teaching second grade, as I have previously taught first and third grades.
