Lindsey Starnes
Background: I am a product of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and went to York Road Elementary. I graduated from Winthrop University in 2009. From 2010-2013 I taught first grade at York Preparatory Academy, a charter school in Rock Hill. I then taught kindergarten and first grade at Blacksburg Primary School from 2013-2018. I returned home to teach second grade in 2018. I am excited to begin another year here at York Road.

Favorite thing about teaching: I love to develop a relationship with every child and watch him or her grow in learning!
Family: I am married to my wonderful husband, Jonathan, and I have a step-daughter in sixth grade at Dutchman Creek Middle School.
Hobbies: I enjoy listening and singing to music, reading, and watching movies.
Pets: I have a shih tzu named Tucker, a miniature dachshund named Bren, and a cat named Pippa.
