• Welcome,

    Friends of Northwestern is the academic booster club and parent teacher organization for Northwestern High School. The organization funds mini-grants for items teachers may not be able to afford for their classrooms – such as books, manipulatives, testing materials, etc. – that are needed to enable students to succeed in learning.

    The organization also provides funds for academic incentives that go to students with a wide range of scholastic abilities. The goal is to not just recognize the “A” student, but to encourage all students to do their best. The annual academic achievement reception, A Night of Honor, and teacher appreciation events, such as meals and cookie days, are organized and sponsored each year.  Volunteers to aid faculty and students year round are recruited from the membership.

    Membership dues start at $25 and are tax deductible. We hope you will consider joining the organization and/or volunteering your time at Northwestern High School. If you have already joined, we thank you for your support.

    Friends of Northwestern meets the 3rd Thursday of each month (excluding June, July, August and December) at 7:15 pm via Zoom.
