What does the ABA do?
The purpose of the ABA is to foster academic accomplishment and continued academic improvement for RHHS students by providing academic opportunities and recognition for students and teachers. A few of our programs include:
New Parent Breakfast
At the beginning of each year, the ABA hosts a breakfast for parents who are new to RHHS. Parents have a chance to learn about RHHS and to meet some key members of school staff and administration.
Garnet, Black & Gold Program
The Garnet, Black & Gold program recognizes students who maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Click for more information.
Testing WorkshopsThe ABA sponsors Testing Workshops for students to learn tips and techniques for the SAT and ACT tests.
Academic Awards
The ABA holds an Academic Awards ceremony to honor students for outstanding academic achievement. Award recipients are chosen by their teachers.
Teacher Appreciation EventsThe ABA holds various Teacher Appreciation events throughout the year. Some of our recent events include pizza and pie for Pi Day, a sundae bar, and stocking the break rooms with coffee and snacks.
Teacher GrantsThe ABA offers small grants for academic projects and teacher requests.
