Ahoy Mateys! Welcome to First Grade! My name is Alexis Airington! This will be my seventh year teaching and I am so excited to see what adventures this year brings! I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Go Gamecocks!
I grew up in Richburg, SC, and spent a lot of time in Rock Hill growing up. After college, I decided to make Rock Hill my home, and am so glad that I decided to make the move.
I love spending time with my two Siberian Huskies (Freya and Thor), reading, going to Disney, and spending time with my family. The best part about being a teacher is watching my students learn and grow throughout the year! First Grade is a big year for learning, and I can't wait to learn with you! I am looking forward to a wonderful year with lots of adventures with a new group of first graders!
