Mrs. Kaleena Gibson
Hello! My name is Kaleena Gibson. I am one of the academic interventionists at Lesslie. This will be the start of my 20th year in education. I’ve taught second and third grades, and also have been an interventionist for 5 years.
I am originally from Manning, S.C., but currently reside in Rock Hill. I graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University, and I am currently a National Board Certified teacher.
I have been married to Orenthal J. Gibson (O.J.) for sixteen years. We have one son named Bryson. He is 11 years old. When I am not teaching, I love to attend concerts, visit different restaurants, and travel with family and friends. I am excited about building relationships within our school community. This is going to be a fantastic year!
