Hello! This is my first year in the Rock Hill School District and I am super excited to be joining the wonderful 3rd grade team at Oakdale STEAM Elementary School! I am from Williston, South Carolina and before coming here, I taught in Williston for 8 years. I attended the University of South Carolina Upstate where I received a B.S. in Elementary Education.
In my free time I enjoy shopping, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family. I love to sing, dance, and make others laugh; which you will get the chance to experience each day in our classroom. I believe in making the classroom a fun, safe environment that allows endless opportunities for our creative minds to grow.
Working with children truly makes my heart happy. One of my favorite quotes says, “The hearts I have touched will be the proof that I leave, that I made a difference and this world will see.” I look forward to having a tremendous school year and I can’t wait to see what all it has in store!
