Yahulda Lelonek
My name is Yahulda Lelonek, and I am originally from Queens, New York. I have been an educator for more than 15 years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree, in English and my Master's Degree, in Early Childhood Education.
I started my teaching career in Atlanta, Georgia, at a Title 1 school for 6 years, where I taught 2nd grade and 4th as the GT cluster teacher.
I moved to Shanghai, China and taught English and Inquiry at an International school for 7 years. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic and other personal reasons, I returned to the states, and landed in Charlotte, NC. I have been teaching for CMS for the past 3 years at a Title 1 school in Pineville.
I absolutely fell in love with the Carolinas and enjoy the slow pace and beautiful scenery after a lifetime of big city living. I have an 8-year son, named Owen. He is a rising 3rd grader. We love to watch movies, shop, travel and read books.
I am super excited to be joining the ROCK HILL family!
