Mrs. Cynthia Ellis
My name is Cynthia Ellis, and I have been teaching first grade for the past twelve years. I really like teaching first grade as it is a big transition grade for reading, math, and becoming more independent. I also taught ten years in private four-year old kindergarten, this is where I found my love for teaching and decided to pursue a degree. I graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and received my Master's in Education from Anderson University. I also have a degree in Commercial Graphic Arts from McDowell Technical Community College in Marion, NC.
I am married to a wonderful man, Tim Ellis, who is a United States Marine and is now safely home and working in Charlotte, NC and together we have five children. In my spare time I love to read, run and exercise, and work in the yard, and we skydive together as a family when we get the chance!
