Hey there! My name is Emily Patterson and this is my seventh year teaching. I graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in education, then taught fourth grade in Sumter, first grade in Fort Mill, and now fourth grade in Rock Hill! I took time off from education to explore another career path, but missed teaching so much that I came back.

 

This is my third year at India Hook, I am lucky to get to teach the best grade at the best school! I chose to teach at India Hook because of the community, and truly love my job. I consider it an honor to teach your child, and do not take the responsibility lightly. I am here to support all learners, all ways. 

 

I have been married to my husband John for seven years, and we have a baby girl Charlie, and a baby dog, Annie! I am so excited for the new school year!
