    We, Sunset Park's School Improvement Council, are excited to bring together parents, educators, students, and community stakeholders to collaborate on improvements within our school.

    The purpose of the SIC organization includes:

    1. Assisting in the development of the school’s 5 year improvement plan
    2. Assisting the school in monitoring and evaluating the 5 year plan
    3. Writing the annual Report to Parents
    4. Assisting the principal in writing the narrative for the Annual School Report Card
    5. Advising on the revisions to the School Improvement Plan
