• Field Day-"A day where everything is fun!"

    Field Day is more than a chance for kids to get out of the classroom.  Fun physical activities send a message that exercise can be fun and enjoyable.  It is a day that many students can be involved in with games they may never have done before. It's a day to see adults and teachers having fun and interacting and building relationships with our students.  

    Field day at Independence has always been a day that is enjoyed by many and has much PTO and parental help and support. It is usally in May. Parents are encouraged to volunteer to help us.
