Mrs. Angela O'Grady
Hi! My name is Angela O’Grady and this is my second year as the Pre-K teacher here at Independence Elementary School! Teaching is my lifelong dream come true, and I couldn't be happier to instill a lifelong love for learning within my students each year. My favorite part about being a teacher is playing a huge role in how much my students grow, learn, and absorb throughout each school year.
I married my husband, Zach, this past April! We have a sweet hound mix pup named Ivy. I graduated from Winthrop University where I completed my year-long internship here at Independence in one of the Kindergarten classrooms. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, going shopping, being crafty, and traveling.
