I am so excited to be starting my 4th year as an India Hook Pirate. I know that it will be filled with lots of learning, love, laughter, and memories!
A little about me: I have lived in Rock Hill since middle school and have loved watching our community evolve and grow over the years. I attended Newberry College where I studied Education and Psychology. When I returned to Rock Hill after graduation, I discovered the world of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and began working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum both in the public and private sectors. I returned to the public-school setting and haven’t looked back.
When I am not at school, you can find me advocating and working with many organizations like Area 11 Special Olympics, GiGi’s Playhouse-Charlotte, an achievement center for individuals with Down Syndrome, and Miracle Park. It is truly my passion to create an inclusive community for each of us to reach our maximum potential! I am a music lover, a big football fan (GO TIGERS), and a dog mom to my Golden Doodle, Mac.
I cannot wait to get to know you this school year and look forward to YOU being some of the BEST teachers I have ever had!!
