    Ronald McDonald House Charities

    I’m Darrell McGill Jr, the Corporate Relations Manager for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Charlotte. Our mission is to provide a safe, affordable, and caring "home-away-from-home" for the families of children receiving treatment in area medical facilities.

    I’m reaching out to share a leadership/volunteer opportunity for rising high school juniors and seniors through our Teen Volunteer Board program.

    William & Mary offers online pre-college courses designed for motivated high school students to help them explore their interests. Students can discover if a subject they are passionate about could lead to a college major or a future career. Students can choose a course and apply today.

  • The 39th Annual Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)

    The 39th Annual Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)

    The 39th Annual Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) will be held on June 4-9 at Erskine College.



    The Rock Hill Rotary Club will be offering 1 scholarship for each high school in Rock Hill. Each delegate will receive a $5000 a year scholarship at Erskine College upon acceptance, renewable for up to 4 years.



    If you are interested in participating in this leadership development program, please see Ms. McKiver in guidance. The deadline for applying is March 30, 2023. Only one student will be selected and there is no student cost involved. All fees are paid by the Rotary Club.

  • Ophthalmic Technical Program at Duke University

    Ophthalmic Technical Program at Duke University

    Ophthalmic Technicians (OpTechs) work closely with ophthalmologists, who are specialty eye doctors, to assist in caring for patients with eye diseases or injuries. An OpTech holds many important roles in an ophthalmology practice to prepare a patient to see their eye doctor.
