Hi! My name is Jaylin Arruda. I’m from a small town with two stoplights - Lugoff, SC! I received my undergrad degree from Winthrop University in 2018 and my master’s degree from Western Governors University in 2021! When I’m not teaching, I enjoy crafting, reading, and photography.
What is your favorite thing about teaching or being at Sullivan?
My favorite thing about teaching is being able to share one of my greatest passions with students and possibly giving them an outlet or a passion to take beyond the classroom. Sullivan has a great arts team and I love getting to work with them.
What is your "genius" or superpower"?
My superpower is handling teenage emotions. I’m levelheaded and good at getting through to the kids when they are going through things!
