Hello! I am Catherine Woody. I am the Mental Health Therapist at Independence Elementary School. I provide therapy services for students and their families during the school year. I have earned a Master of Arts in Counseling and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of South Carolina. I am starting my 10th year of providing clinical, mental health services to children, adolescents and adults. I specialize in the areas of trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and substance use disorder. I am committed and excited to help our students build on their personal strengths and practice healthy coping skills to work towards their therapy goals.
